Amy Glen

Project Coordinator (Development)

Amy trained as a teacher in Nottingham, and after working there for a couple of years returned to the North East, teaching throughout Primary ages from Nursery to Year 6. She is also a volunteer within Scouting, and runs a Beaver Scout group each week. She enjoys providing children with new experiences and challenges, which push them out of their comfort zone and allow them to try something new.

Amy enjoys spending time outdoors and is a keen runner and cyclist, often challenging herself through competing in various running events. She values the importance of ensuring children and adults lead active and healthy lives. She believes that the promotion of cycle education and safety for all, and the progression of this, is key to the development of a lifelong skill and enjoyment of cycling.
