Patrick is a keen cyclist and has been involved in cycle training for the last 13 years; initially as an instructor and for the last 8 years as an Instructor Trainer in Kent. He has worked with large and small providers and amongst other things helped to develop their quality assurance and CPD. He also has worked in the Road Safety Team co-ordinating the Youth Travel Ambassador programme aimed at secondary schools across the county.
He is passionate about getting more people cycling from all walks of life, having worked with a wide variety of young people to adults, homeless people and those who are socially isolated, to those with mental health problems, asylum seekers, HGV and van drivers. He believes that the variety of people from across society who want to cycle is one of the most positive and exciting aspects of where the country and the trust is now.
